Webbseems to hold some promise as a measure of perceived stress. Although Cohen et aL (1983) presented information on scale devel- opment, reliability, and validity in nonclinical samples, the existing information is limited in that this scale has not been evaluated psycho- metrically in a psychiatric sample.
